Stepbrother Catfish by Izzy Sweet
I found Izzy Sweet because I was struggling to find a book that interests me. With hundreds of books published daily in Amazon, this is a weird problem to have. The first book of hers that I read is Keeping Lily which is a collaboration with Sean Moriarty. Stepbrother Catfish is the second book of hers that I read. I probably would continue reading her books until I finished them all!
Based on the two very different books that I read (Keeping is more dark romance while Stepbrother Catfish is more contemporary/erotica romance.), Izzy Sweet’s writing tend to have elements of insta-love. If you have a problem with this trope, you might want to move on. As you can probably decipher from the title, the plot is involves Andrew, Hailey’s stepbrother, catfishing her. Can they build a strong relationship when they started off with lies?
As this is more erotica or contemporary romance, there is a lot of sex scenes. A lot. This is a good thing because Izzy Sweet writes very hot sex scenes. The male lead, Andrew or AJ, is the typical hero – rich, handsome, smart and basically everything you can want except he is a jerk. Hailey is an insecure but beautiful and sexy woman, which does not make sense because men seems to want her and she just doesn’t see it.
Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking for a light read.
