Chloe Walsh

Hi, everyone! Today at Author Stalker we have the awesome Chloe Walsh. If you have read any of her books, you would understand why I love her so so much. The creator of Hunter “Lucky” Casarazzi deserves the most awesome accolades. Seriously.

Me: Hi, Chloe!

Chloe: Heya! How’s it going?

Me: <maybe she doesn’t know I stalk her> I am such a big fan of yours. I was wondering if I can ask you a few questions.

Chloe: Sure. Fire away!

Me: <hmm… maybe she really has no clue> How long have you been an author? Do you write full time or part time? What influenced you to write?

Chloe: February 2018 marks the four years since I published my first book. I am really fortunate to be able to write full time. I have the most amazing bunch of loyal readers, and feel so blessed to be able to provide for my family by doing something I love.

Me: What is your first published book? How did you feel when you published it? Excited? Scared?

Chloe: The first book I published was Break My Fall back in early 2014. I was terrified when that book came out. I had no idea what I was doing and originally uploaded it so my friends can download it on their kindles. I intended on taking it down, it went wild and straight into top of Amazon and number one in several countries on iBooks. That completely stunned me.

Me: <simply amazed!> What can you tell us about your book that just released, Altered? What about upcoming books?

Chloe: Altered is the sixth full length novel in the Carter Kids series. The hero in Altered is possibly

my favourite of all my books. It’s an Amazon top hundred Bestseller. I’m actually really proud of that one. I have some upcoming projects, but I am keeping everything under wraps until I’m closer to releasing.

Me: <I gotta up my stalking skills> Lucky is probably my fave too. It does not hurt that he looks like the second coming of Charlie Hunnam. What is your advice to newbie authors?

Chloe: My advice to aspiring authors would be: write, write, and write some more. Be gracious, humble and kind. Thicken your skin because you are going to need it. Don’t rush. Use an editor. Perfect your book to the best it can be. And good luck!

Me: Thank you for answering my questions! Stalk you later? Chloe? Chloe?!
